Adra Young

Adra Young is a native of Gary, Indiana. She is a Acting Coach, Actress, and Educator. In 2005, Ms. Young wrote her book for Tweens and Teens titled,The Everyday Living of Children & Teens Monologues.

Her second book, The Everyday Living of Children & Teens Monologues Volume II, is a sequel to the first.

Her third and very first fictional read, The Misfits was released via e-book version May of 2013. Based upon a group of seventh graders about to start their second year at Vernon Middle School, four great friends have one terrible thing in common. They were all bullied their sixth-grade year of school. Sadly their biggest fear is that the torment will continue through out the seventh-grade.

Miss Young received "International Book Reviewer Status" in 2013. Young joined the Urban Nation Radio family in 2014 and currently host The Cooks and Books show every Thursday at 5pm eastern standard time. October of 2014 marks the one year anniversary as Young serving as a food blogger and food critic. This March of 2017, Young rereleased her middle school bullying read, The Misfits in bounded book version.
