I discovered my creative nature early in life as an inquisitive youngster growing up in sunny South Florida. I remember always looking forward to being the source of something wonderful whether it was visual, written, or verbal. My Grandmothers backyard was the perfect place for me to unleash my vivid imagination leading to many adventures in the jungles of Africa, creating abstract drawings of the trees and sky as only I could, and belting out impromptu poems, songs, and imaginative stories to anyone who would listen.
Fast forward to my early adult life, several life-altering experiences left me bitter battered and broken; merely existing in a world without a clue creativity became a faint whisper in the back of my mind.
Yet gradual maturity taught me that gifts and talents are GOD's blessing to us and to seek the true source of life in him. I learned to live life with purpose, embrace each of my creative characteristics, and use them to enhance my life as well as the people around me. My new attitude has opened doors to entrepreneurial endeavors, creative ventures of unexplainable magnitudes, speaking engagements to intimate groups and large audiences of eager ears, and of course my favorite form of self expression the written word as books, blogs, poems and everything in between.
I no longer take anything for granted, I am thankful for all things great and small as it is all relavent in this great circle of Life.
My desire as an author is that you read and receive my work with an open mind and heart and allow my passion to touch your soul.
Peace and Blessings,
