Born and raised in the southern United States, Ana currently resides in Conway, Arkansas with her very supportive boyfriend. Born in 1989 and raised in the southern United States, Ana Hart has been writing for as long as she can remember, even staying awake during nap time in kindergarten in order to scribble down her stories and then illustrate them herself in crayon. Her love for reading, writing, and the intricacies of the English language was instilled into her at an early age by her journalist parents who read to her often and who never once "dumbed down" their vocabulary when speaking to her.

In the fourth grade, Ana could read on a college level.

In high school, Ana was accused of plagiarizing an essay because her teacher said there was no way a sixteen-year old could write that well. Ana eventually was able to prove her innocence. Her senior year, Ana was both the main editor for her school's yearbook and the head editor of the student publication and the various short stories, essays, and poems she composed for her composition class that she was attending for college credit received high marks. She was encouraged to look at publishing them some day.

After graduation, Ana attended college for a short spell, working towards a major in Journalism, but soon discovered that the social life of campus was not for her and withdrew. She has been writing feverishly ever since, working towards the day when she can write full-time and support herself with her imagination and stories.
