Author/Visionary Director/Motivational Speaker

Angela has published four books in the Daybreak Book Series. Daybreak: Gaining Strength Through Our Pain in November 2011, Daybreak: Rising Above It All With Praise (Revised Edition) in April 2014, and Daybreak: A Prayer Book for Children October 2014, Daybreak: 100 Powerful Breakthrough Moments for Women in March 2017.

Angela graduated from North Florida Community College where she studied Administration and Early Childhood Education. Formerly, a Early Head Start teacher, Angela has over ten years of experience in teaching.

Angela oversees the Tallahassee Authors Network Christian Sub-Group.

She also participated in the 2012 Teen Poetry Slam Contest at the Eastside Library as a Judge, and have written blogs for other Authors.

Angela has appeared at the 2011 State of Black Florida Conference at the State Capitol in Tallahassee, Florida, and Black History Come Alive at the Sealey Elementary School in Tallahassee, Florida.

A guest Author for 2 years at the Sealey Elementary Young Author Conference in Tallahassee, Florida.

Angela contributed has two short stories one of her short stories, entitled, “A Wicked Twist of Fate,” earned Angela a 2nd place prize in the Tallahassee Authors Network’s short story contest. The other short story entitled “One Kept Secret" .

In the February-March 2012 issue of the Tallahassee Women Magazine, Angela was proud to be highlighted under its notable“Women to Watch” column. Also in 2012, Angela received a

Phenomenal Woman Award from the 2012 Black History Come Alive Program, held in Tallahassee, Florida.

Angela is the founder and Visionary Director of Daybreak Art of Learning is a program designed to provide each individual the opportunity to be creative while using their gifts and talent. We provide three educational workshops: Daybreak creative writing, scrapbooking with Daybreak, Daybreak Young Authors.

Angela volunteer her service with FAMU Softball Team, CNLT Youth Department. She is a beta reader for GMME Publishing Company.
