Arlene Sanders

ARLENE SANDERS is an Appalachian Mountain writer. She is a native of Virginia and a lifelong Southerner. Sanders received Pushcart Prize nominations for "Fire and Ice" and "Wish You Were Here." Her first story collection, TIGER BURNING BRIGHT, was honored as a Finalist in the Jefferson Press Prize for Best New Voice in Fiction Competition. Her fiction has been published in many literary reviews. Johns Hopkins University M.A. degree candidate, Phi Beta Kappa.
