Bernd Greiner
Bernd Greiner is a German historian, political scientist and Americanist, who has headed the "Theory and History of Violence" department at the Hamburg Institute for Social Research since 1994 and teaches at the Department of Philosophy and History at the University of Hamburg. He works on US history, the history of the Cold War, transatlantic relations and the relationship between the military, politics and civil society.
