I live at the bottom of the world in Auckland New Zealand. A delightfully peaceful country far from the trouble spots of international politics, yet a country that has contributed much in sporting, science, and artistic achievements; in fact you can say a country that punches well above its weight yet continues to be friendly with the rest of the world.

Starting life as a policeman I went on to broaden my experience as a labour relations specialist, then senior corporate executive, before starting my own Management Consulting business; a position that took me to many parts of the world and got me up close and personal with the human condition in its many forms. In between which I got involved with my beautiful wife in a stained glass business and later a fun retail shop selling pin back button badges and other things to a laughing bunch of happy customers.

But always the muse was calling. In fact she has been calling from the time when as a seven year old, I frightened the life out of my friends with scary tales spun in the dark basement of a Presbyterian Church, from which I got subsequently banned by the Minister. The muse persistently tugging at my distraction until finally I started writing the many stories that were bubbling in my head ... and then I ran into the brick wall of publishing.

Having been involved with many industries, I quickly saw the terrible threat publishing faced from digital technology, but also the wonderful opportunity for author's to carve their own path and let the market decide. The freedom of eBooks allowing me to spread my wings in whatever direction I chose. Young adult, spiritual redemption, international intrigue, there are no limits.

So that's what I'm doing. Telling stories to a world eager to be transported away on the wings of words. Any way it's a whole lot more fun than worrying about the global economy.
