Sometimes I Dance When I Walk...was a purposeful effort at documenting exploration by a young man in
America, written in a journal format, presented with a collection of photographs taken by the author during the same period of time, documenting images from a life in 1979 through 1985.
I was born in Arkansas and have lived in central Arkansas my entire life. This period of time was marked by much exploration of this country through road trips to various locations as well as self exploration through relationships, psychotherapy, art and the written word.
I attended Hendrix College in Conway, Arkansas from 1978-1983, obtaining a bachelor's degree in political science. I attended the University of Arkansas at Little Rock from 1987-1990, obtaining a masters degree in social work. I have continued to practice social work in a variety of settings from 1990 through the present. Currently working in a private practice psychotherapy setting in Little Rock, Arkansas.
I continue to write and present poetry in school settings throughout central Arkansas.
