Carmen Ambrosio

Carmen Ambrosio is the author of Samson: Memories of a Found Hound, a part memoir/part fictional tale. The book is narrated by Samson, a neurotic Beagle mutt with a super sensitive schnoz, who has plenty to say about life with his pet parents after he's rescued from the road.

Ambrosio's first book, Life Continues: Facing the Challenges of MS, Menopause, and Midlife with Hope, Courage, and Humor, won the 2011 National Federation of Press Women Communications Contest-Ohio Affiliate for Biography and Autobiography.

In addition to being a writer, Carmen is an art photographer who prefers to travel to places without snakes unless she is outfitted with knee-high boots and accompanied by a mongoose.

She lives with her husband Larry in Ohio. They said good-bye to their mighty mutt Samson in 2012, ten years after he found them.
