Hello! I am Catherine Basten, author, and illustrator of three children's books, titled Tiny Wings, Come and walk with me, and Animal Tales and Trivia. My inspirational book is titled, Strive to Love Anticipate with Hope, Believe in Faith. My how-to instructional book on candle-making is titled Cathy’s Candles.

My inspirational book, Strive to Love, Anticipate with Hope, Believe in Faith, is about virtues. Prior to each chapter, I begin with a poem depicting the meaning of this virtue and then share my story of how I experienced that virtue. Poetry is painting the scenery with words.

Cathy's Candle has 28 candle-making projects. Each candle-making project includes easy instructions and suggestions for molds. Teaching you to create candles by reusing & recycling items.
