Why do I write? I write simply because I have to, it is my life blood, it makes me whole. When I sit down to write I see a world unfold, rich with real-life characters and endless adventures. I am compelled to share it all and in a way, live it with anyone who will listen.

I currently live in the mountains, which is the only place I can recharge. I have two zen masters, what most people consider "cats" named Gatsby and Zelda. I live more in the fantasy of other worlds than I do in reality. I also happen to have an obsession with the supernatural too. (I'm a sucker for scary movies.)

I read all kinds of fantasy and sci-fi. My favorite books are The Book of Flying and the Sevenwaters Trilogy. I grew up watching The Labrynth, anime, The Neverending Story (great book too) and Willow (and shamelessly still do).

I love fantasy/dystopian novels, which is also the genre of Oriana's Eyes, my first novel. I've been working hard to finish Book Two so I hope you'll be forgiving to an indie author. I'm currently working on my masters degree so that has eaten up a lot of my time.
