Cherlina Works

Cherlina Works was born and raised in Saginaw, Michigan. She enjoys creative writing, aerobic activity, music, and watching sporting events. She is the author of Jewel's Magical Christmas and her debut novel, Nothing Can Come Between Us: Well, Maybe a Hater has received the Princeton Literary Review Bronze Standard for Literary Excellence.

Her sophomore novel, When The Side Nigga His Brother was released in December 2015. She is currently working on her urban debut Christian novel and the sequel to When The Side Nigga His Brother.
