Christine Hannon has been a professional hairdresser for 54 of her 71 years. At sixteen, she started her career that included hairdressing, makeup artistry and modeling. Then suddenly at the age of twenty-three her life was immeasurably changed due to a drunk driver. Her career as she knew and loved it was changed forever. Working in a salon until it was no longer physically possible she then worked the best she could from home.
Living with chronic pain she taught herself to paint. Encouraged by her son in law David Pederson she put her hairdressers and life stories into a book.
Her book 'A Hairdresser's Diary' shares many amazing stories on her journey. Her blog will give you much insight into her incredible life.
The sequel 'A Hairdresser's Diary- Scissors Retired' is now available on Amazon, LULU, Smashwords in both soft cover and e books.
Now added to her published works is her book of poems - 'Say it With a Poem' in both e book and paperback.
'Flabbermouth Moments' is a collection of her foot in mouth stories and finally for now 'A Cut Above Discrimination" 0ne woman's fight to help the needy one hair cut at a time.
