Dave Besseling

Dave Besseling was born and raised in Canada, and after graduating from college, spent his 20s bashing around the globe, visiting over 30 countries. His first book, 'The Liquid Refuses to Ignite', was published by Hachette India in 2012.

He has designed furniture for the CMU Art Museum in Chiang Mai, exhibited his art alongside HR Giger in Amsterdam, and was shortlisted to the final two for tenure at the National Museum of Contemporary Art in Seoul, Korea.

His art/design has appeared in Esquire Japan, Wallpaper Thailand and the Asia Literary Review.

His writing has appeared in The Atlantic, The Toronto Star, Forbes India, Rolling Stone India, The Caravan, CNN-Go, and others.

He was shortlisted for the 2012 Kurt Schork Award for International Journalism, and currently works as Features Editor of GQ India.
