D.B. Cox

DB Cox is a blues musician/writer from S.C. He grew up in a Southern Baptist Orphanage in Greenwood, SC. He served in the Marine Corps from 1968-1972. From 1978-2005, he played with some great blues bands in New England and New York.

These days, he can be found in the early-morning hours bent over a Fender Stratocaster guitar in roadhouses, honky tonks, and juke joints throughout the southeast. His poems and short stories have been published extensively in the small press in the US and abroad.
