Elizabeth Blake

I’m currently working on a graphic novel about 5 siblings removed from their first family to foster then adopted. After decades, they found each other again. Finding belonging and culture was elusive.

I love exploring new places, growing blueberries and lavender and kayaking. In addition to illustrating children's books. I have worked as a pediatric NP. Most of my life has centered around children at home and work, having exchange students from Belfast and Japan. Now we have grandchildren and live in the Pacific Northwest.

As a child, she loved making stories into little books with few words, many pictures and the occasional map, just like now. You can see more of her art at elizabethblake.us
