Emma James is a multi-skilled Trainer and Master Practitioner Therapist of NLP (Neuro Linguistic Programming), Hypnosis and TLT (Time Line Therapy). Specialising in eating related disorders and trauma, Emma is taking people to levels they didn't think were possible in the fields of weight management and life enhancement in personal therapy. Emma has also worked in the media with her new approach as a consultant for UK daytime TV's The Trisha Show and Wife Swap, and is also a regular broadcaster on BBC radio. She writes and contributes to numerous national and international magazines and publications, advising on weight, eating related issues, sport and personal performance and also teaches other therapists how to manage and deal with weight clients using this advanced but simple therapy and diet philosophy.
“If you don’t feel like changing and don’t have the motivation to do it for you then there’s not a single diet or pill that will work.”
“It’s not a mystery, not the Holy Grail, and not some secret to which only a few people hold the key – regardless of what the gurus charging vast amounts per hour tell you. Dieting IS straight forward once you understand the principals and get to know your own body.”
“The endless ‘gurus’ who couldn’t understand why I wasn’t losing body fat with the level of training and diet I was on just pushed me into finding my own answers, which then proved to be the answers that thousands of others were looking for.”
“As a result of the success achieved by so many clients who used my approach, I was told to write a book, instead of breathing fire and brimstone about the ‘mystery’ being built up around diet and disempowering messages that only other people can do it for you.”
“My belief and career has been emblazoned with the conviction that we are all individual and, as such, not one therapy, diet, strategy or lifestyle will fit all of us.”
“Without the personal traumas, tribulations and ‘terribles’ that I have experienced throughout life, I wouldn’t have gained the information necessary to write this book and my life would never have taken the course it has.”
