f. f. white is a technical writer from the Silicon Valley and graduate of UC Santa Cruz's creative writing program. He was raised in the wilderness by park rangers, where he acquired an interest in biology and ecology. He is the author of one volume of poetry, Gospels of Rage, and a short novel, A Phantom Agony, both published in 2012. His work has appeared in the The Road Not Taken: a journal of formal poetry, Cyclamens & Swords online journal, and Stepping Stones Magazine, and will be featured in upcoming issues of Ancient Paths Online, Nomad's Choir magazine, Scifaikuest, and Danse Macabre. His short story, Starchaser, was shortlisted for the Aeon Award in 2010. He is also the recipient of an honorable mention from the L Ron Hubbard's Writers of the Future contest. He lives in New York with his wife, the artist Ashli Sisk.
