A Canadian writer, I am struggling, like so many others, to communicate stories that are readable and entertaining. I began as an actor and writer with theatres across the country that were committed to creating original work. That gave way to studying psychology at York University in Toronto, where I graduated with a Master's degree. I went on to pursue an education degree in a one year program at U. of Toronto, and soon settled on teaching English, part time, at public and private high schools. I continued to write short stories and novels as well as ghostwriting books for Holocaust survivors and others.

To read the first chapters of "Daughters of the Teardrop Sea", short stories and related work go to my website at: http://hmcooper.digitalnovelists.com .

“I don't believe in money. It's fickle and it's false and it's created poverty in its own name. I do use it though when I need to. But I don't believe it, although I understand a lot of folks do.”
