Jasira Monique

Gifted at written expression, Jasira Monique uses her creative writing to help others identify ways they can enhance their lives being their personal best. This new rising literary starlet’s poetry and book, Bruised Kisses, have been featured on local news and radio shows such as WXEL South Florida Artsview, Channel 9 News in Denver; online publications such as Inscribed magazine, SportyMommas.com and events throughout the nation’s capital Washington, DC; Colorado, Kansas, Missouri, New Mexico and South Florida.

Most recently, she’s embraced her career as a motivational speaker and playwright. Additionally, her highly anticipated book of poetry and micro-stage play, Woman on the Move was successfully released January 2013. Her talent has been featured and requested at various inspirational events for women’s empowerment, families and spiritual gatherings to promote personal growth & development. As Ms. Florida Plus America 2012, Monique promotes the importance of mental health awareness & suicide prevention. A portion of the proceeds from Woman on the Move book sales will be donated to a local mental health charity.
