I have only published my poetry so far (Shadows in the Stars is a collection I published under my pen name, Greenlee Taylor). However, I have several files on my computer of started novels (or short stories, you never know exactly where the characters will take you!), and I'm hoping to be able to start spending time working on those.

I enjoy many different genres, and I will probably never get to all the books on my TBR list. My Kindle alone has just shy of 2k books on it now (as I'm typing this, it's March 7, 2013). At least I read over 100 books/short stories a year. That has to help, right?

I'm primarily an editor, and I actually enjoy the job very much. My website is http://modernelektraediting.com - I also have another website, my magazine that I have. It's mostly for women, and there can be a bit of mature content found there (just a head's up!), but there are various topics covered, and if anyone would be interested in writing for it, just contact me. You will retain the rights to everything that you write. I just don't want anything that has a political agenda. I try to keep it as neutral when it comes to politics as I can. I can't pay for your articles if you do choose to submit, but you are free to submit them anywhere you'd like.

I've been writing for a long time, always having an active imagination. I carry a notebook with me in order to write down ideas, or even just a string of words that sounds good together, because if I don't write it down (or email it to myself - thank you, technology), then I will completely forget it within an hour. My memory tends to mock me by not working in my favor.

“(this I wrote for our troops, amazing men & women serving our country - sometimes with great sacrifice.)Owen’s OwnHis girls were his world,He built his life around them.Their laughs,Their smiles,Their tears,Their sorrows; He fought for it all.Thousands of miles away,Day after day,He fought to keep them safe,Keep them from harm,But being gone, he could do it all. They weren’t hurt, his girls,But they weren’t safe anymore. Finally he could come homeAnd truly protect his own.”
