I fell for books during my grade school years. My mother was a big influence encouraging me to read adventure, history, science fiction, and poetry. In high school I turned to music and listened to songwriters like Bob Dylan, Paul Simon, Joni Mitchell, Don McLean, and Leonard Cohen. I wanted to write songs and play guitar. I reached the point of recording ten originals in a professional studio, but that dream fizzled out. Poetry and avid reading kept me going and in 2000 I penned my first novel. What followed was more poems, short stories, articles, and novels. I've traveled and lived in many states. When I was much younger I hitchhiked often and road the rails experiencing the life of a drifter. I lived in a haunted house that changed my insight toward spirituality and religion. I've lived in the city and the country; the flat lands, the deep south, the desert, the Rocky and Sierra Mountains. My next residence will be to live by the sea; any sea.

I am the author of three suspense novels, one book of poetry. I like to sketch and play guitar. I enjoy music, art, plays, movies, nature, wildlife, religion, sociology, philosophy, and politics. I am also an actor and have acted in two plays: "The Miracle Worker", as Captain Keller; "The Matchmaker", as Horace Vandergelder.
