Since the age of five, J.M Cataffo dreamed of becoming a writer. Although convinced he would never write anything more than a grocery list, he has managed to put together enough words to make a novel. In fact, what was once a short story he wrote in High School, has now blossomed into three interconnected series of books. Sally Singletary's Curiosity has received rave reviews from early readers! The sequel, Sally Singletary's Discovery is scheduled for release in early 2014. Also be on the lookout for Elements of Eaa: Tears of Destiny.

In addition to writing, J.M. Cataffo also runs the Eaa Learning Foundation, a site devoted to all things education and how to improve our classrooms for our children. If you're interested in teaching materials, he has some great educational lessons and activities for teachers and parents. He is a pioneer for public education and teacher perception. His latest initiative is theiTeach ∴ iAm initiative whose sole purpose is to encourage positive perceptions of teaching and education. He is currently working on a non-fiction guide to Co-Teaching and how it can benefit students in the classroom.

J.M. Cataffo has worked in education for over 15 years and his favorite part of his job is teaching writing. In Special Education it's sometimes difficult to get a child who has a great deal of difficulty with writing to compose a story and he prides himself in building the confidence and skills necessary for students to succeed. Recent advances in technology, along with some good old fashioned tried and true methods, have given these students a chance to express themselves in a way they never could before. It's exciting to see kids who no one thought could ever compose a story, write something that is beautiful and insightful.

His challenge to you: Never underestimate a person's potential to do things you never thought they could.
