I absolutely love life though I've shared it with the disease MS (multiple sclerosis) since 1977. I believe every day can be an adventure depending on how I look at my circumstances and what is happening with my health.

My writing comes from my journal entries dating back to the late '70s (!) and my always growing relationship with God. "Soar Unafraid: Learning to Trust No Matter What", my memoir, had been requested by audiences to whom I've spoken since 1984. I finally wrote it a few years ago. You can read many reviews at amazon.com or my own website www.soarunafraid.com.

Ray (my husband) and I love to travel. (We drove a convertible through the Alps of Bavaria, Switzerland, and Austria, and the Italian Dolomites in September 2010.) We love sighting wildlife; jeeping in the Rockies; and so much more--you see I live fully and adventurously though I have MS and have even suffered a cervical spinal cord injury that should have left me a quadriplegic or worse. We also love spending time with our daughters and grandchildren. (Though we don't feel old enough to have them!)

I am a national speaker for all types of groups--hence my two websites for speaking. I've also recorded songs that can be downloaded.
