There are two things that I have always known I wanted to be. One is an elementary school teacher. I had an amazing 2nd grade teacher, Mr. Geivet, who inspired me. I have been teaching elementary school for eleven years. The second thing is a writer. I have always written. I have always had stories swirling around in my head.
I love reading young adult novels. Maybe I'm a bit immature (maybe?!), but many novels written for adults bore me to death. I enjoy books that have a touch of magic, time travel or some type of supernatural element, with vivid, lovable characters and unpredictable plots. These are the types of stories I write. I write what I love to read.
I live in Southern Califoria with my three children, Christian, Berlyn and Donovan, a cat, Mazzy, and our two year old German Shepherd, Leonidas.
