John C. Daly

I grew up in Union City, New Jersey, the second most densely populated city on Planet Earth(that's population per square mile). Having experienced the formative years of my life in an urban soup bowl, I consider myself fortunate to have experienced first hand the good, the bad, and the really ugly-- gangsters, killers, drug dealers, derelicts, addicts, pedophiles, con-artists, bullies, sycophants,racists and every other type of dreg known to man. Despite what one might consider an adverse environment, what dominates my personality is my working class roots, and my creative desire. I finished and self-published my first book, Spiked Snowballs & Flaming Cats in August of 2012. It is an anthem for "every working-class kid that dreamed of breaking free from the constraints of low expectations: the job in the post office, the union job, the cop on the beat, the job your father had." I believe in the human spirit and the goodness that resides in the hearts of most people. That is who I am.
