John Wesley Young

John Wesley Young (M.S., Mathematics, Cornell University, 1903) was Mathematics Department Head at Dartmouth College (1911–1919) and later chaired the department (1923–1925). With Oswald Veblen he introduced the axioms of projective geometry and proved the Veblen–Young theorem.
