Kate McGuinness is the author of Confidence Lost / Confidence Found: Strategies to Reclaim the Unstoppable You, a book based on neuroscience discoveries that is packed with strategies to boost confidence. Her insights grew out of her work as a certified coach and the founder of Empowered Women Coaching. She’s also the author of the legal thriller Terminal Ambition, which combines her experience as a lawyer at one of the top law firms in the United States with her passion for women’s rights.

Confidence Lost / Confidence Found: Strategies to Reclaim the Unstoppable You "should be on the bookshelf of every woman who has ever questioned her self-worth – and that’s just about all of us,” says Lois P. Frankel, Ph.D., author of Nice Girls Don’t Get the Corner Office. Rick Hanson, author of Resilient, wrote, "We long for true confidence in our worth and capacity to cope and succeed, and Kate McGuinness shows us the way."

Kate’s writing has appeared in major publications such as The Guardian, Forbes, and The Huffington Post, where she addresses issues such as being the primary breadwinner, succeeding in a male-dominated workplace, and deciding when or whether to have children.
