I was the Features writer for The Bergen News and Press Journal, and other non-fiction articles have been included in publications ranging from the NYTimes.com, the Life/Style section of The Boston Globe, to the TriCity News. StoryTellers is a community based organization that develops literacy through the art of writing. Using reading, group exercises, and one on one mentoring, Story Tellers provides under-served teenagers and young adults the opportunity to write their own stories which can inspire them to discover the strength and power of their own voices. The goal of the program is to develop literacy, self-expression, and self-esteem.
