Laura Diaz is the mother to seven, and NE Certified teacher for Middle grades 4-9 with a MA in Teaching and endorsements in both Language Arts & Social Science.

While in the Air Force, she lived in Italy for four years and wrote a successful monthly column, "Single Minded," for a local mission-newsletter, The Shofar. She also is the author of Come What May: A devotional collection of short story and poetic musing. Come What May received positive and glowing reviews and was highly ranked among the best new Kindle Ebooks from Indie-authors.

In her magazine freelance articles, she has written about family, motherhood, and her struggles with ADHD, all spiced with infectious humor.

When she's not writing or teaching in a middle school classroom, you may find her bingeing on whole seasons of a missed T.V. show-- in one sitting, or found with her nose in a good book--YA, lately you'll see her pulling shoes and such from the death-grip jaws of their new GSP puppy, Charlie.

That I could only find out my identity, who I waswhen I stopped looking into my own eyesand instead searched in the eyes of Jesus. Only He could REALLY tell me who I am. Who I can be. Who I will be...”
