Laura is also a highly regarded editorial consultant, a popular Workshop Leader at writers' conferences in the U.S., a permanent faculty member of SCWC, a member of International Thriller Writers (ITW), and one of the Original 25 Founding Members (and a member of the Board of Directors) of Novelists, Inc.
She received a Bachelor of Science Degree in Criminology from California State University, Long Beach, and she currently resides in Southern California.
