I live in Eastern North Carolina. Besides my family, reading and writing are my passions. Contemporary romance is my writing genre of choice, but I'm not opposed to writing something different should an excellent idea strike.

Some of my favorite authors include: L.J. Kentowski, Stefne Miller, Cassandra Clare, J.K. Rowling, Karen Marie Moning, and Nicholas Sparks... just to name a few.

Published in 2012, Taking Chances was my debut novel.

“Love finds us at different times, different moments in our lives. For some people, it happens gradually and grows over time. For others, it clamps down on their souls and won’t let go. It’s a unique feeling that won’t leave your heart. There’s no reason for it. She’s in your life; you can’t do or think of anything else, but her. You want to spend every moment in her company, even if it’s only to gaze upon her face and be close to her. You’re that for me, Lilly.”

“What Alex was able to do to her, the way he made her feel was unlike anything she'd ever experienced before and she knew she'd never be able to get enough of him. He was her drug, her high, and she was addicted without any desire to find a cure.”

“Clair smiled, “I don’t sing, and besides, shower singing is meant only for the person taking the shower.”Alex walked into the bathroom and stood beside the tub. “So does that mean if I were to join you, you’d sing to me?”“Maybe,” she grinned.”

“Did you know you snore in your sleep? You do this little gurgling, whining thing. Scared the shit out of me at first. I couldn’t tell if you were drowning or whistling at me. I started to stick a wad of napkins in your mouth.”

“What does time have to do with anything? When two people have that kind of connection and you both can relate and help each other, like I know you both do now… who the hell cares about how long you’ve been dating? I say, when you know, you know.”
