Since he was a child, Washington, D.C. native Louis N Jones has enjoyed crafting interesting stories for others to read. His love of writing and his passion for creativity has led to many opportunities, including the reading of one of his short story creations, “The Silly Crayon” on national radio while he was still in third grade. As an adult, he has displayed his writing, information technology, and publishing talent at several publishing companies. Exercising his passion for helping others, he started and directed ConquestHouse, Inc., an organization that provided temporary housing, life skills, Bible studies and job training to persons recently released from prison. In 2008 Jones published his first novel entitled "Prodigal in the City." The novel has won rave reviews from readers for its strong plot and its message of faith, redemption, and hope. He followed up with a second novel, “The Colors Will Change,” about a Haitian immigrant who befriends a beleaguered politician to avoid a murder plot. Jones’ novels feature realistic plots and characters combined with a strong Christian message. He also publishes other Christian authors through his company, Dove Christian Publishers.

One of his favorite Scriptures is Romans 14:17, “For the kingdom of God is not meat and drink; but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost.” As such, Jones has a passion to see people move beyond mere religion and “church as usual,” and into a vibrant relationship with Jesus where God rules and reigns in their hearts and lives.
