M.A. Bookout

Mark A. Bookout was born on April 30th, 1963 in Michigan. After High School he joined the United States Army and became a U.S. Paratrooper. He later worked as a broadcast journalist for the Department of Defense where he wrote news stories as a field reporter for various television news programs. Throughout his tenure he wrote, produced and directed programs, shows and documentaries; Winning numerous Keith L. Ware Awards for Excellence in Military broadcasting.

Mark Attended Central Texas College, Defense Information School, School of Broadcast Journalism and Wayne State University. Today, he resides in Michigan with his family. When he isn't writing he can be found working as the Publisher for Penniman Publishing Company. When he isn't writing or working he can usually be found on one of the many rivers, lakes or streams throughout Michigan, fishing for Steelhead, Trout or Salmon. Come October, you'll more than likely find him in the woods Bowhunting for white tail deer.
