Margaret Hofmann

Margaret's book, The Wedding Gift, is a touching mother-dauther memoir and inspiring wedding story. Margaret loses her mother just days before her wedding and she writes about the most difficult week in her life as she has to balance the extreme emotions of heartbreak and sadness with elation and joy. This book is a tribute to her mother, as a Catholic missionary, volunteer, and benefactor for the Comboni Missionaries. All proceeds from the sale of the book go into the Pauline Hofmann Education Fund (PHEF). This fund supports a poor school in an impoverished area in Nairobi, Kenya by providing the basics in education; books, writing utensils, paper, school uniforms and school meals. The fund is operated by the Comboni Missionaries in Cincinnati, Ohio where Pauline Hofmann spent almost 30 years as a volunteer helping the religious in their mission work in Africa.
