Meg Mims

Award-winning author MEG MIMS writes historical western mysteries and sweet romance novellas. She also writes cozy mystery (both series and novellas) as MEG MACY with rescue cats and dogs.

Meg is also one half of the writing team D.E. IRELAND along with another award-winning author, Sharon Farrow, for the Eliza Doolittle & Henry Higgins historical mystery series. Book 1, Wouldn't It Be Deadly, and Book 3, Get Me to the Grave on Time, were both Agatha Award finalists for Best Historical Mystery. Book 2, Move Your Blooming Corpse, and Book 4, With A Little Bit of Blood, round out the series.

Meg's western historical mystery, Double Crossing, won the prestigious Western Writers of America Spur Award for Best First Novel of 2012. The sequel Double or Nothing won the 2013 Laramie Award for Western Mystery. Meg has also written short stories in several anthologies for the Western Fictioneers.

Meg loves history, lighthouses, mysteries, gardening, and animals. She lives in SE Michigan.
