Meg Winkler

From the time that she was a little girl, Megan Winkler filled notebooks with bold characters and fanciful narratives. Today her prolific writing career has yielded swoon-worthy vampire hunters, bold revolutionaries, whimsical and unique advice, thought-provoking commentary, and loads of entertainment.

The self-described Zen cowgirl is a Certified Happiness Life Coach, Communication, and Relationship Coach. She's the author of Transmissions from Dating Land, Wake of Darkness, Revolution 2, and other titles. Megan has been featured locally and across the nation in publications including elephant journal, CultureMap, The Alternative Daily, Earth911, and the Neurosculpting® Institute. Her independent publishing company, Brainy Babe Micro Pub, offers a variety of services including book coaching and presentation skills coaching.

Megan holds a degree in history from the University of North Texas after switching her major from psychology and political science. Her Master's Degree in Military and American History from American Military University gave her the research experience and critical, unbiased approach for which her writing is known. It also made her a wicked strategist. She lives in North Texas with her partner Mike, their daughter, and a revolving cast of roommates and houseguests including a ghost cat.
