Michael O'Neal

Mike O’Neal is the author of An Angel’s View: Encountering God through the Stories of the Heavenly Hosts and the FLEX Adult Bible Study Holy God, Holy People, both of which are published by 21st Century Christian. He worked for NASA at the Kennedy Space Center for over 31 years. While serving in various leadership positions in the Space Shuttle, International Space Station, and Exploration Programs, he was awarded the Agency’s Outstanding Leadership Medal and two Exceptional Service Medals. Mike was privileged to investigate mechanisms to provide spiritual support for astronauts on long-duration missions, which required him to assess the history of spirituality and spaceflight.

He has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Central Florida, a M.S. in Engineering Management from the Florida Institute of Technology, and a M.A. in Christian Ministry from the Harding School of Theology. As owner of Angelquake Ministries, Mike currently provides seminars and presentations on his books and the topic of spirituality and spaceflight. He also preaches part-time for the East Orange Church of Christ in Orlando, FL. He and his wife Carol have two children and attend the North Brevard Church of Christ.
