Paul Ramirez

Paul Ramirez, an independent writer/filmmaker, has been a strong advocate for Bilingual Latino media for over a decade. His first movie was a twenty-minute short film entitled Face Down in 2003. He studied Music Education while living in Corpus Christi, Texas shortly after he graduated from San Diego High School in San Diego, Texas.

He has over thirty years of experience in creative development fields. He has written, directed, edited and produced a plethora of music albums, independent films and television programs. Mr. Ramirez has co-written over ten film scripts in all genres and he currently has approximately fifty music compositions published with BMI

"The Adventures of Paleta Man" is his first Bilingual Children's book based on his screenplay. "The Adventures of Paleta Man: Secret of the Gold Medallion" is the second Bilingual Children's book also based on a screenplay."The Adventures of Paleta Man: Temple of the Sun" is the third Bilingual children's book in the three book series which is also based on a screenplay.

He now lives in Austin, Texas, with his wife of 27 years.
