Being a native of Dublin, Ireland, I live in the beautiful coastal suburb of Clontarf where the novel Bankruptured is mainly set. Away from the pressures of banking and the pleasure of writing, I look forward to my weekly round of golf in the wind swept dunes of Bull Island, Dublin. I enjoy traveling abroad and experiencing different peoples and cultures.

One of my all-time favourite quotes is Joseph P. Kennedy's:

"I knew it was time to sell when my shoeshine boy gave me a stock tip"

For me, it captures the sense of greed that passes unfettered from generation to generation and also, how history unfortunately repeats itself!
