After putting in 4 years of active duty with the U.S. Army, I earned an Electronic Engineering degree under the GI Bill along with several other academic achievements. Eventually I turned away from actual product designing to technical writing and computer art.
As a technical writer, I have written and authored millions of words, business proposals, white papers, service manuals, and other types of technical documentation throughout the years. I have worked for or been contracted to small companies as well as large corporations. I have also worked for various agencies of the federal government, including NASA, the Department of Energy, Social Security Administration, Department of Defense, and the Office of the President of the United States.
My latest endeavor is (military) science fiction, however, to which I always had a love for. Being involved in weaponry and aerospace projects, it only seemed natural to combine my knowledge with my first love.
Beyond Mars Crimson Fleet is the product of that unification. It is based on actual naval battles along with historical figures as well as people I have personally known. It was meant to articulate the very best and the very worse each of us is capable of.
