Robert Hamner

Robert Edward Hamner (7 July 1928 – 25 April 1996; age 67) either wrote for or produced (or sometimes both) about thirty five different television series, , including Hawaiian Eye, Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, A Man Called Shenandoah, Star Trek (episode "A Taste of Armageddon"), The Time Tunnel, Run for Your Life, Lost in Space, Ironside, Hawaii Five-O, Planet of the Apes (episode "The Legacy") and Wonder Woman. He is best known as the creator of the police procedural show S.W.A.T. He worked from the late sixties until shortly before his death.
