Robert Wildwood creates poetry during opportunistic moments while raising two children and working as a nurse using pen and paper, typewriter, voice-to-text and tiny keyboard on smartphone, ink and brush, chalk, finger paint, and campfire charcoal.
Hillside Sunrise is Robert WIldwood’s first collection of poetry, published in 2022 it is the first in a series of collections that he plans to publish every year in the spring and release at sidewalks and trails by suspending the books on tree branches like fruit.
Robert is a long time author at Microcosm Publishing on the subjects of shanty boating, comics, childhood strangeness, mindfulness, punk and queer adventures, sexuality, gender, real life dog stories, transgender parents, and DIY healthcare. Robert Wildwood has published works using pen names Robnoxious, Robert Rowboat, and Robert Earl Sutter III. Robert is a fan of science documentaries, victory gardening, turning lawns into wildflower meadows, watching wild animals be wild, watching domestic animals get wild, and boating with punks.
Robert Wildwood lives with his partner and two children in Duluth, Minnesota and is an active member of the League of Minnesota Poets, Duluth Chapter.
