Rodney P. Romig

Rodney Romig has a BA in English, an MAT in teaching and a PhD in economics from the U. of Nebraska. He lived and worked in Asia for two years (Japan, Korean, Taiwan, Thailand) and Europe for ten years (Germany, England, Belgium, Holland, Portugal, Spain, Greece, Scotland, Italy). For nineteen years, he lived and worked in Hawaii, where he served as the Dean of the College of Business Administration and Professor of Economics at Hawaii Pacific University. For several years he was a regular columnist for both Pacific Business News and for a newsletter in the construction materials industry. He served on numerous local not-for-profit boards, including the Hawaii International Film Festival. Dr. Romig currently lives in Sarasota, Fl. and still travels extensively in Europe, South America and the Middle East.

The Dr. Dan Trix mystery novels are available as Kindle ebooks, as is Lakeside, a noir suspense novel, and One A Day: Bites to Better Business, a compilation of most wry and whimsical observations on business and the personalities that inhabit contemporary organizations. Lakeside was awarded the Royal Palm Award from the Florida Writers Association for best published literary novel of 2013.
