Sally Ricketts

I am in my early thirties and work as a civil servant. I live in a seaside town which has lots of wonderful history to it. When I was a child I struggled a little bit with reading but once I got to the hang of it, you could not keep me from reading. I started writing when I was at secondary school and remember everyone saying how I always chose character based stories to write about, with complex story lines. I guess I am still doing that now but enjoy the fact that I have not stuck to just one genre to write about. I love the freedom to write about what captures my heart and fills me with passion to see the job completed. Writing is one of my many hobbies. I love reading (not surprisingly), needlework, cardmaking, socialising etc..

One day I hope to give up my office job and write full time.
