He died aged 89, Professor Seicho Taniguchi, President of the Supreme Seicho-No-Ie, in Tokyo, Japan The incident occurred at 22h21 local time on 28 October.

Ahead of the movement since 1985, when he succeeded its founder, Professor Masaharu Taniguchi, who had died that year, Professor Seicho had his first contact with the literature of Seicho-No-Ie in 1942, when he signed Seicho Arachi.

In 1946 she married Professor Emiko Taniguchi, daughter of Master Masaharu Taniguchi, assuming the surname of the family and going to work at the forefront of the religious organization that, at the time, already gained international dimensions.

Graduated in Psychology from the Faculty of Arts of Tokyo, Professor Taniguchi Seicho had four children, among them Professor Masanobu Taniguchi, who will assume the position of Supreme President, succeeding his father in front of Seicho-No-Ie.

Professor Taniguchi Seicho had 33 works published in Portuguese, reaching the mark of 670 000 copies printed here in Brazil, highlighting the work Mind is Creative Force, which hit at around 150 000 books.
