Southern-born, New York City-based Tara Leigh Cobble has spent the past eight years building an indie empire, and it runs as fast and direct as a subway train. This spring she announces the release of a new book and album within months of each other. Meanwhile, she s been in the studio recording her sixth album, Playing Favorites.

TLC s albums feature many of her friends and influences: Matt Wertz, Dave Barnes, Brandon Heath, Josh Wilson, Kemper Crabb, and members of Caedmon s Call. As if that weren't enough, the trifecta of noteworthy magazines for 20- and 30-somethings, RELEVANT, RELEVANT Leader, and Radiant regularly feature her articles. She casts a lasting impression amongst fans and critics alike and has participated in 1,700+ events for singles, college students, women s groups, and youth groups across 42 states. And she s only just begun.
