For me, one of the side effects of being an only child was painful shyness which led to a solitary life with very little friends. To compensate, I immersed myself in my imagination, creating far off worlds inside my head. When I was not acting out these worlds in my backyard, staging plays and concerts for my stuffed toys, I was writing them down in countless journals. I fell in love with the craft of writing from an early age because it was(and still is)the only place I can set my true self free.

Writing allows me to express my true feelings, it is how I deal with the good, the bad and the ugly.

I have written many dark stories but the most pivotal life altering story did not come from my imagination.

It came from my life.

Forever Christian is the story of my son, Christian who was diagnosed with autism in 2010; nine years after I sought help. It details his and my family's journey to the diagnosis.

Writing is not a easy dream to reach and maintain but a passion is always worth struggling for.
