Tracy Aiello

Tracy Aiello is a former first grade teacher, business owner, columnist and all-around storyteller. In all her work she has told stories, whether it is retelling a children’s book to first graders, or writing for daily and weekly news publications, trade journals, websites and marketing collateral.

Miracle Dogs of Portugal is the first in a series of almost-true stories that explain the periods and characters of world history using dogs as the ambassador to learning. As a former teacher she hopes the Miracle Dogs books will act as “seeing eye dogs” for children; opening their eyes to the rich stories of history and the miracles that one person can create in their own life. If kids have the courage to follow their dreams, if they have a loving community to support them and if they believe in miracles -- imagine what our world will become.

Tracy, an explorer herself, lives in Dallas and Denver. She can be contacted at [email protected]

“But my friend IS the sea, Mr. Diego. He has been my friend since I was very young, my only friend, and I can't bear to hear him crying. he's lonely. I came here to keep him company.""Boy, the sea is not your friend, especially not today." "Excuse me, Mr. Diego, but I think you are wrong. He is my friend, he says good morning to me every day.”
