Currently - Vicki is in reset - completing a master's in sport psychology, golfing, bonding with her children, and slowly working back to writing. She is doing lots of reading so watch for updates on that.

In addition to a Master of Fine Arts in writing from Saint Mary's College of California, she has attended writing residencies at the Lambda Literary Emerging Writer Retreat (2007), Veterans Writing Project with the George Washington University's Writing Program Veterans Writing Conference (2013), and the Napa Valley Writers Conference (2013).

Distractions from writing generally involve playing in the dirt, creating culinary concoctions with what came out of the dirt, feral cat control and constant catching up with literary, news, science, geographic, and other such periodicals that arrive in the mail.
